Engineering education is the practice of teaching and learning the principles of engineering in order to develop the engineering skills and knowledge necessary to build and maintain the infrastructure and systems that make up our modern world. It can be divided into several sub-disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, and chemical engineering. Engineering education typically involves classroom instruction, laboratory experiments, hands-on practice, and internships or apprenticeships. It is important for students to understand the principles of engineering, as well as the practical applications of those principles, in order to be successful in their chosen field.
